The Academy for Canoe Development was founded in 2008.  Since then the club has produced numerous Provincial, National and African Champions as well as an array of athletes that have represented South Africa on the world stage at World Cups, World Championships and the Olympic Games! 

The club has weekly coaching sessions available from beginner level right up to elite training level. All our coaches are accredited coaches with ICF from Level 1 to 3.
